This informational guide points to GMS privacy controls. The existing Shopify-managed Privacy Policy remains the authoritative published notice.
Read the controlling policy
Read the Privacy Policy for the data-collection, use, sharing, retention and rights disclosures currently provided through Shopify's privacy settings.
Access your privacy choices
Use the published Your Privacy Choices page for available opt-out controls. Depending on your region and activated settings, Shopify may also provide cookie-banner and consent options. We do not claim particular optional trackers are enabled without a current configuration check.
Third-party platforms
Shopify manages store commerce and customer accounts. Discord is a separate community platform. Any future verified Discord account linking and third-party analytics must be accounted for in the controlling Privacy Policy before activation.
Privacy requests
Follow the processes in the Privacy Policy or submit a request through GMS Support. Identity checks may be needed before personal records can be disclosed, and certain payment, safety or legal records may have retention requirements.
Updates and control
The automated Shopify privacy notice and privacy controls are managed separately from this guide; material data-practice changes require a fresh notice and settings review.
